In just six days you will ride across the high mountain plateau of Song-Kul Lake, cross remote nomadic valleys, descend spectacular mountain passes and finish your journey at the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake.
The route combines long-distance riding, high-altitude terrain and authentic encounters with nomadic culture. It is an ideal program for experienced riders looking for a compact but challenging MTB adventure in the Tien Shan Mountains.

After breakfast, transfer from Bishkek to the high mountain lake Song-Kul via Kochkor village.
Reach Kalmak-Ashuu Pass, where we stop for a picnic lunch surrounded by alpine scenery.
From the pass begin a 25 km downhill mountain bike ride toward the western shore of Song-Kul Lake.
Arrival at a traditional yurt camp.
Dinner and overnight in yurts.
Breakfast at the yurt camp.
Start cycling directly from the camp and ride along the shores of Song-Kul Lake, one of Kyrgyzstan’s most impressive high-altitude landscapes.
Ride across vast nomadic pastures at an altitude of about 3,000 meters.

Picnic lunch in nature.
Arrival at Tuulga-Tash area on the southern shore of the lake.
Dinner and overnight in a yurt camp.
After breakfast begin cycling toward the famous “32 Serpentine” mountain road.
Leave the Song-Kul plateau and ride across hills and small mountain passes toward the Naryn region.
Picnic lunch along the trail.
After reaching the Bishkek–Naryn highway, bikes are loaded into the support vehicle.
Transfer into the beautiful Solton-Sary Valley.
Overnight camping near the river.
Breakfast at camp.
Continue biking through the peaceful Solton-Sary Valley, known for its wide pastures and nomadic shepherd camps.
The route includes sections of dirt road and single-track trails leading toward the remote valley of Kara-Bodur.
Arrival near a shepherd family settlement.

Overnight in camping tents.
Breakfast in a local shepherd’s yurt.
Begin cycling toward Jylu-Suu, riding through the remote Orto-Syrt mountain valley.
This scenic section follows high mountain pastures and quiet nomadic landscapes.

Arrival at the Balgart River, where camp is set near the river.
Dinner and overnight in tents.
Breakfast at 08:00.
Begin the final mountain ride toward Tosor Pass, one of the scenic routes connecting the Naryn region with Issyk-Kul Lake.

Cross the pass in the afternoon and descend toward the Issyk-Kul basin.
At the highway, bikes are loaded into the support vehicle.
Transfer to a yurt camp on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. On the way visit natural hot springs.
Dinner and overnight in the yurt camp.
Farewell dinner with guides, drivers, and support team.
After breakfast, pack the bikes and prepare for departure.
Transfer to Bishkek (approx. 4–5 hours).
Arrival at the hotel.
Optional city walk or visit to local bazaars.

After having solved all the questions and programs confirming we issue an invoice for payment. You can make a bank transfer or pay upon your arrival time in Bishkek before the trip starts.
The price of the tour depends on the number of people and the season. According to the request and interest, we can negotiate the optimal price for your budget.
The altitude is high and you will cross several mountain passes and most of the days will be long day biking among the steep mountain single trails up. We recommend you train with sport or jogging 2-3 times a week in the run-up to your trip.
First of all, you need to bring your own mountain bike and tools as well. In case your bike will be broken during the tour you should have the necessary spare parts to repair it.

Overnights during the activity tours you will have overnight in tents but most of the overnights will be in the yurt camps and local homestays,
Hot showers are available when staying in homestays and guesthouses during the tour.
However, during the 3 nights of camping, there are no permanent shower facilities.
If you wish, we can arrange a mobile hot steam sauna in the camping locations for an additional cost.
The group will be escorted by car. All the luggage, mineral waters, and foods will be transported every day by car and generally all available mountain roads the car following you on the back. Just some single trails the cars will not able to follow you but they will be waiting for you at the head point where it is possible.

Do not drink very cold water from unknown sources.
Drinking alcohol at high altitudes is unsafe.

Wear warm clothes in the mountains, usually after eating out.
Bring your medicines and first aid kit.
If you feel unsafe or have issues to discuss, please share with your staff, host or tour manager.
Collect your litter. Pack up all non-biodegradable rubbish. Please don’t drop cigarette butts or litter.
High altitude vegetation is very fragile.
Save the environment. Use toilets in nature wherever available. Where are none, stay at least 40-50 m from streams and water sources and bury all waste and paper.
