Rescuers evacuated a 35-year-old tourist who was injured during the descent from the Komosomol peak in Ala-Archa. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The incident occurred on June 1. The man was climbing as part of a group, but on the way back he injured his leg and could not continue moving.
Employees of the State Center for Rescuer Training of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene. The victim received first medical aid and was evacuated to a safe area. The tourist’s condition is assessed as satisfactory.
