Yesterday, on November 12, competitions of the World Cup in sports tourism on mountain distances started in the city of Osh on the Kereme-Too rock massif. This was reported by the president of the Sports Tourism Federation, Vladimir Agafonov. According to him, the first day of the tournament was marked by preparation: athletes underwent official training, checked equipment, adapted to the challenging terrain, and practiced key elements of insurance and team interaction. ‘Tomorrow, the first competitive stage – ‘Mountain Ties’ – will begin, where participants will face real competition for seconds and perfect route passage,’ notes the federation president. He adds that several intense days full of adrenaline, strength, and cohesion lie ahead.
