  • Skis, Boots, and Poles: Rental shops at ski resorts like Chungkurchak and Karakol offer ski packages, which usually include skis, bindings, boots, and poles. Beginners can opt for shorter skis, which are easier to control.
  • Helmet: Wearing a helmet is highly recommended, even for beginners, to protect against falls and potential accidents.
  • Ski Goggles: Goggles protect the eyes from sun glare, snow, and wind. Look for anti-fog goggles for clear vision in changing conditions.
Below is the necessary clothing. If you do not have any of these items, you can rent them from us. We can discuss the rental details in advance.
  • Ski Jacket and Pants: Insulated, waterproof ski jackets and pants are essential to keep warm and dry. These should be windproof and breathable to maintain comfort.
  • Base Layers (Top and Bottom): Opt for moisture-wicking thermal layers that keep sweat away from the skin. Merino wool or synthetic materials work best.
  • Mid Layer (Fleece or Insulating Layer): A warm fleece or lightweight insulated jacket provides extra warmth between the base layer and outer jacket.
  • Ski Gloves or Mittens: Waterproof, insulated gloves or mittens are essential to keep hands warm and dry.
  • Neck Gaiter or Balaclava: Protects the neck and face from the cold wind, especially in colder conditions.
  • Warm Ski Socks: Thick, moisture-wicking ski socks that reach up to mid-calf are essential for warmth and comfort inside ski boots.
  • Beanie or Hat: Worn under the helmet, a thin beanie keeps the head warm without adding bulk.

Additional Gear

  • Backpack: A small, waterproof backpack can be handy for carrying water, snacks, an extra layer, or a camera.
  • Hand and Toe Warmers: These disposable warmers can be a lifesaver on particularly cold days.
