We offer 6 days of trekking activities to the destination from the village Pervoe-Maya. Two nights camping in the wild and one night in the yurt.

ITINERARY

Bishkek – Naryn

Travel from Bishkek to Naryn. It will be easy and get prepered day. On the way visit Burana tower. Lunch stop in Kochkor welcoming in the family house. Afternoon arrival in Naryn. Accommodation in the hotel or guesthouse. Dinner at cafe

Bishkek – Naryn is about 4-5 hours driving

Trekking day in Bogoshty gorge.

Breakfast. Transfer for Birinchi May village. Meet your guide team, start your trip into the gorge Jolbogoshty. The first day will be an easy day and get used to your trekking road and wondering about the nature surrounding beautiful landscapes. You will slowly ride up following the river Jolbogoshty about 10-15 km until the slop of the pass Bogoshty (3928m). Camping in the wild.  (trekking time is 3-4 hours)

Trekking day to Ak-Say valley via Bogoshtu pass

Breakfast in the wild. Spend morning time climbing the Bogoshtu pass (3800m asl). After crossing the pass descentt the region of Ak-Sai. Take a short rest in the small water springs after the pass and walk down until the afternoon. Set up the camping near the river Bogoshtu.

Today continue the tour to the yurt camp Kok-Kyia following the mountain’s trail road through up hills. Picnic in the wild and visit some local nomad yurts, be welcomed for tea. Late afternoon arrival at the yurt camp. The camp is located just near the river Kok-Kiya. Upon your arrival time enjoy the view of Kok-Kiya valley and be an honorable guest for dinner. Dine and sleep in the yurt camp. (Trekking time is 7-8 hours, horse time: 6-7 hours )

Trekking day Lake Kel-Suu

Today continue the trekking part for 15 km till the Aksai river. Get the river till lunchtime and your local guides help you crossing the river by horse. From another side of the river, you will get the car road to Kok-Sai valley. You will be picked up by car and second part of the day you will finish by car. You will drive about 30 km road and get to the yurt camp for late lunchtime.  Afternoon rest in the yurtcamp.

Dine and sleep in the yurt camp. Optional to take a shower or sauna with hot steam.

Trekking time about 3-4 hours. Driving by car about 1 hour

 

 

Kel-Suu explore 

After breakfast explore the Jailoo Kok-Kyia and open your Lake Kol-Suu.  Take a loop trekking for  Kel-Suu (15 km). For the overnight return to the yurt camp. Lunch picnic near the lake. Dinner and overnight in the yurt camp.

KelSuu – KokKya – Naryn

After breakfast takes a long day way back to Naryn. Half-day will be trekking for 15-16 km to Ak-Sai valley via Kok-Kya panorama road. When you get on the road in the valley Ak-Kya your driver will be waiting for you near the river with a ready picnic and hot tea, coffee. Afternoon transfer for Naryn. Arrive in Naryn around at 07:00 pm, accommodation in the hotel or guesthouse.

Bishkek

Transfer for Bishkek. 4-5 hours driving

 

Optional to do extend the trip to Song-Kol or Issyk -Kol region or to the south part of Kyrgyzstan

After having solved all the questions and programs confirming we issue an invoice for payment. You can make a bank transfer or pay upon your arrival time in Bishkek before the trip starts.

The price of the tour depends on the number of people and the season. According to the request and interest, we can negotiate the optimal price for your budget.

During this tour, you need to do trekking every day for 5-6 hours, intensive 4-5 hours. The pass Bogoshty is 3000m above sea level.  We recommend you train with sport or jogging 2-3 times a week in the run-up to your trip

Clothing for hiking in temperatures from +25C to -0C. A detailed kit list will be sent to you when you book on.

The most overnights during the trekking to Kel-Suu from Atbashy will be camping intent. We provide you tent and mats upon your request. In the Kel-Suu area, the yurt camp will be at your disposal.

Yes, you need a permit. Lake Kel-Suu is located near the border with China and there is border control. We arrange your border permit in the tour package.

The basic hints for travelers.

  • During your travel time, please respect local culture, customs, traditions, and religion.

  • Smoking is prohibited at home.
  • Please share your ideas on food and accommodation preferences.

  • Be friendly and try to get in contact.
  • Be careful during the evening and night time and aware of mass meetings.
  • Be careful with your documents, money and valuable items.
  • Be aware of pickpockets and strangers at bazaars and streets.
  • If someone asking for documents, wallets or cameras, saying that they are from the police, ask them to go police together.
  • Never give your belongings to strangers.
  • Wear good hiking shoes for outdoor activities.
  • Bring warm waterproof clothes even in summer.
  • Have your torch sunscreen and repellent.
  • Do not drink very cold water from unknown sources.
  • Drinking alcohol at high altitudes is unsafe.
  • If the food fat or not acceptable for you can taste a bit and say thanks.
  • Do not drink cold water after eating out, better hot tea or c It helps in high altitude digestions cases.
  • Wear warm clothes in the mountains, usually after eating out.
  • Bring your medicines and first aid kit.
  • If you feel unsafe or have issues to discuss, please share with your staff, host or tour manager.
  • Collect your litter. Pack up all non-biodegradable rubbish.
  • Please don’t drop cigarette butts or litter.
  • High altitude vegetation is very fragile. Save the environment.
  • Use toilets in nature wherever available. Where are none, stay at least 40-50 m from streams and water sources and bury all waste and paper.
  • Leaving footprints, take just your photographs.
