Eleven days and 1,900 km across Kyrgyzstan’s high country: from the shores of Issyk-Kul to remote Sary-Jaz beneath the Tian Shan giants, over passes close to 3,900 m, across the wild Arabel plateau to Silk Road Tash-Rabat and alpine Song-Kul. Nights in cosy guesthouses and nomadic yurt camps, with horseback rides, hikes and shepherd hospitality along the way.
Price
The price of this tour is calculated individually. It depends on the group size and your personal preferences, such as the number of days and the level of accommodation. Send us a request and we will prepare an offer for your group.
Vehicles
On this route we travel in 4×4 off-road vehicles. To keep the journey comfortable on long mountain drives and leave enough room for luggage, each car carries a maximum of 3 passengers plus the driver. For groups of more than 3 people we add extra vehicles with drivers.
Guide
Your English-speaking guide is also the driver of the first car. Additional cars are driven by experienced local drivers.
Booking & border permits
Parts of the route (Sary-Jaz and Kel-Suu) lie in the border zone and require a special permit for every participant. Please book at least one month in advance so we have time to arrange the permits. We will need a copy of each traveller’s passport.
Tell us about your travel plans and we'll craft a personalized proposal within 24 hours. No pressure, no generic packages — just a genuine conversation about your dream trip.
