This tour is for travelers who don’t want to follow popular tourist routes, but instead seek true exploration. It’s designed for those who want to go beyond the ordinary — into places where few outsiders have set foot — and feel like genuine discoverers of wild, untouched landscapes.
Perfect for adventurous spirits who value authenticity, solitude, and the thrill of venturing into the unknown.
This route is a true discovery for those seeking untouched nature and raw wilderness. Very few foreign travelers have visited this area, which means everything remains pristine and authentic — high mountain jailoo pastures, crystal-clear alpine lakes, nomadic families, and vast landscapes untouched by mass tourism.
This is an expedition into the heart of wild Kyrgyzstan — where the mountains still belong to the wind, the horses, and the silence.
After breakfast, we depart from Kondok Village, setting off on horseback along a scenic river valley towards the spectacular Chalkan Jailoo (high-mountain pasture). Here, local nomadic families welcome us with open arms, offering a unique glimpse into their traditional way of life. We will share stories, experience their customs, and enjoy a hearty homemade dinner in a yurt. As night falls, we settle into our tented camp under a vast canopy of stars, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Kyrgyz wilderness.
Today, we embark on a thrilling climb to 3,600 meters, covering 8-10 km of rugged mountain trails. Accompanied by our strong and reliable Kulun-Ata horses, we navigate steep slopes and alpine meadows, steadily making our way to our campsite at the base of the Ojurma Pass. The challenge of the day is rewarded with jaw-dropping panoramic views of the surrounding high-altitude landscapes. As the sun sets, we enjoy a warm meal and spend the night in our tents, embraced by the silence and grandeur of the mountains
The day starts with an exhilarating ascent to the 4,000-meter-high Ojurma Pass, where a stunning bird’s-eye view of the alpine lakes unfolds before us. After soaking in this unforgettable sight, we begin a long yet scenic descent towards the shores of the pristine Kulun-Ata Lake. Upon arrival, we set up camp and take in the unparalleled tranquility of this remote paradise. The evening is spent unwinding by the lake, enjoying a fireside meal, and experiencing the raw beauty of the Kyrgyz highlands
A peaceful morning by Kulun-Ata Lake marks the final day of our adventure. After breakfast, we begin our return journey to Kondok Village, following a breathtaking route along Kulun-Ata and its smaller neighboring alpine lakes. Along the way, the landscape shifts, revealing different perspectives of the lake’s ever-changing beauty. There’s also a chance to spot wildlife, such as ibex, bears, badgers, and other mountain-dwelling species. By evening, we arrive back in Kondok, where a comfortable guesthouse and well-earned rest await.
