Meet Your Local Guide Nurlan

Born on January 14, 1980, in the remote mountain village of Ozgorush, your guide grew up surrounded by the traditions of Kyrgyz nomadic life. Both of his parents were school teachers, and from an early age he was raised with strong values, discipline, and respect for people and nature.

After completing his education, he became a physical education teacher. Today, he is a proud father of seven children and a deeply respected member of his community.

Since childhood, he has been riding horses and exploring the mountains alongside local hunters. This lifelong connection with nature gives him an exceptional understanding of the terrain, weather, and hidden routes of the region — knowledge that cannot be learned from books.

He is not only a skilled horseman but also a warm and welcoming host. Known for his friendly and easygoing personality, he connects effortlessly with people from all backgrounds, making every guest feel comfortable and at home.

In the evenings, he often shares Kyrgyz culture through music, playing the traditional komuz and accordion, creating unforgettable атмосферу у костра.

Since 2019, he has been working in tourism, sharing his homeland with travelers who seek authentic experiences far from the usual tourist routes.

Traveling with him is not just a tour — it is a genuine connection to the heart of Kyrgyzstan.
