ITINERARY

Travel for National Park Ala-Archa by 4×4 cars. It will takes 1 hour driving from Bishkek. Then start hiking in the park for one hour with your guide. After this you will be transferred to another gorge Kashka –Suu and hit the road to Chunkurchak by off road. On the way you can do short walking to make panorama viewpoints.  Arrival in Chunkurchak and have a late lunch in the traditional exotic restaurant Supara Chunkurchak. Sightseeing around. Late afternoon return to Bishkek, short city tour and accommodation in your hotel. Meals at café.

Today travel for Chong-Kemin. It takes 1,5 hours. On the way visit Burana tower from Silk-Road age. Arrive in Chong-Kemin for lunch. After lunch takes a short horseback riding walking in the village. You will be well instructed by your guide to having a horse riding experience. Dinner and accommodation in the Ashuu hotel.

After breakfast travel for Karakol, Issyk-Kul region. On the way visit the local family house where you can see the demonstration of making the felt carpet “Shirdak” and be welcomed for having a tea in the traditional Kyrgyz yurt with fresh bread. Also make a stop in Cholpon-Ata, short walking in Ruh Ordo complex and lunch stop in Cholpon-Ata café. After lunch keeps traveling to Karakol. On the way, you can also stop on the lakeshore of Yssik-Kol and have a hot thermal bath. Late afternoon arrival in Karakol. Accommodation in the hotel Green Yard or Karagat.

Today off-road adventure driving to ascent mountain valley Arashan. You will be driving up to the river Altyn-Arashan for 20 km to reach the beautiful valley Altyn-Arashan which is famous for hot thermal springs and Alpen meadow hills. Lunch picnic in the wild. After having sightseeing around take a hike back to descent Ak-Suu place. You can take hiking back about 15 km. But on the behind your off-road vehicle will escort you. If you get tired the vehicle is at your disposal to change your walking for driving in the car. Return to Karakol for the hotel around 18:00 pm.

After breakfast transfer travel for the greenest valley in Kyrgyzstan – Karkyra valley. There is a legend about Temirlan.

Santash, San Tash is 4 meters tall and has a diameter of 56 meters.  According to legend, San Tash was birthed during the time of Tamerlane’s military campaigns. Tamerlane wanted to know the number of his troops and commanded each of his men to throw a stone into the pile so he could gage the size of his army. Hence, the name San Tash, or “the counting stones,” was given to the pile. However, it’s rumored that there may be more to the legend than just that.  It’s said that Tamerlane was first entreated upon to count his men by an elderly man he met on his way.  The elderly gentleman wanted to impart wisdom to Tamerlane by giving Tamerlane a visual lesson on the price of war.   When his army came back from war, the old man asked him to have his men pick up a stone from the pile when they returned.  The stones that were left showed Tamerlane all the men that died during his exploits. Archeologists estimate a total of more than 3,500 cubic meters of stone resides on this site.

After the historical aspect takes a lunch picnic and coffee on the riverside with beautiful scenery for the river Santash. Another visit is Karakyz yurt camp in the gorge Karakyz. Arrive in the place, take a hike in the place, and have traditional food in the yurt. Late afternoon return to Karakol. Hotel accommodation.

Today is a great day to visit the Jeti-Oguz gorge and valley of flowers Kok-Jayik. You can do 1 hour ascending to Kok-Kayky pass by horseback and take walking down to Svetlaya Polyana for another 1 or two hours. On the valley, your drivers will wait for you to pick up and transfer back to Karakol.  Accommodation in the hotel. Dinner at restaurant.

After breakfast visit Sunday Animal market in Karakol. After traveling for Tamga. On the way, you can visit the local Dungan family for lunch. A local Dungan family will welcome you to their home to celebrate the diversity of Dungan cuisine over an elaborate home-cooked meal. Learn the fascinating story of why this Muslim Chinese group immigrated to the region 140 years ago, how they made the area their home, and how families today keep their traditional culture and cuisine. Afternoon arrival in Tamga, accommodation in the guest house with dinner.

Today travel for Bokonbaevo village. This day the travel program offers Barskoon gorge to explore the waterfall “barskoon” and driving up to Arabel Plato for 4000m above sea level. The road is good and served in the same direction is located the main gold mine Kumtor. On the high altitude Plato you can see the glaciers and high mountain lakes. Picnic in the wild and take a driving back to the main road to visit another interesting point. It is fare tail canyon Skazka where you can also take walking for one hour. Late afternoon arrival in Bokonbay, accommodation in the guest house with dinner.

After breakfast takes a road to Bishkek. This day also will be full of experience because you can meet on the way Eagle hunter with his Golden eagle. See the demonstration of the eagle and have experience of the eagle hunting show. For lunch, you will stop in the village Kyzyl-Tuu on the way to the yurt-making master house family. By having lunch, you can learn how to make the traditional nomad’s yurts from wood and felt. Afternoon leave for Bishkek. Arrive in the capital city around 17:00 pm. Accommodation in the hotel. Farewell dinner at a restaurant.
