Day-by-Day Program
Transfer from Osh to the mountain village of Kojokelen. Lunch in a local family homestay.
After lunch, begin your trek or horseback ride into the impressive Kojokelen Gorge. The trail gradually ascends toward the slopes of Jiptik Pass.
Distance: approx. 10 km
Overnight: Wild camping with tents
A peaceful first night surrounded by silence and towering cliffs.
Early ascent to Jiptik Pass (4,000 m). From the top, enjoy a breathtaking panorama of the Trans-Alay Range, with peaks rising above 7,000 meters.
Descend into the wide Alay Valley and reach Sary-Mogol village.
Overnight: Family homestay
Traditional dinner with local hosts
Morning transfer to the alpine lake Tulpar-Kol, located at the foot of Peak Lenin (7,134 m).
Radial hike to panoramic viewpoints overlooking glaciers and snow-covered summits. This is one of the most iconic landscapes in Kyrgyzstan.
Return to Sary-Mogol in the afternoon.

Today we head toward the remote Besh-Kol region. Gradual ascent through high pastures and shepherd settlements.
Camp is set before Sary-Mogol Pass.
Overnight: Wild camping
Pure wilderness. No infrastructure. Only mountains.
A demanding but rewarding day. Early climb to Sary-Mogol Pass (4,300 m).
From the top, enjoy spectacular views over the turquoise lakes of Besh-Kol and the vast Alay landscapes. The area is home to wild ibex and high-mountain wildlife.
Descend toward Kosh-Moinok Jailoo.
Overnight: Wild camp or shepherd’s yurt
Cross Sary-Bel Pass (3,100 m) and descend back to Kojokelen village.
Afternoon transfer to Osh.
Overnight: Hotel in Osh (optional additional night)

During the trekking, we provide you with pack horses and you can do trekking with your light things. All the heavy things, cooking gear, and your large backpacks will be carried by horses.
Most of the overnights will be in tents. In the middle of the tour, you will have availability to stay in the guesthouse with hot showers in the village Sary-Mogol.
We provide you with mineral water where it is available to buy on the way in the village shops when we travel by vehicle. In fact, will have bottled water for two first days. But during all trek-days, we will not able to carry the much mineral bottled waters, we take water from the springs and rivers for cooking and for tea-coffee after well boiling for sure. For drinking, you can use water filters. We offer you to bring the water purified pills from your side. In Kyrgyzstan, people used to drink from the rivers and spring sources and we don’t use water filters and any pure file pills. Therefore, you will not able to find the water pure file pills or portable filters in Central Asia at all.
During this tour, you need to do trekking every day for 5-6 hours, intensive 4-5 hours. The passes up to 4 000m above sea level. We recommend you train with sport or jogging 2-3 times a week in the run-up to your trip
