Day-by-Day Itinerary

Morning excursion to Ala-Archa National Park, located about one hour from Bishkek.

Enjoy a gentle one-hour hike in the alpine valley with your guide.

Continue by off-road vehicle to Kashka-Suu Gorge and scenic Chunkurchak Valley, with short panoramic walks along the way.

Late lunch at the traditional restaurant Supara Chunkurchak.

Return to Bishkek in the afternoon for a short city tour.
Overnight in hotel.

Drive to the beautiful Chong-Kemin Valley.

On the way visit the historic Burana Tower, an important monument of the Silk Road era.

After lunch enjoy an easy horseback ride in the valley under the guidance of experienced instructors.

Dinner and overnight at Ashuu Hotel.

After breakfast drive to the Issyk-Kul region.

Visit a local family to observe the traditional craft of making felt carpets (Shirdak) and enjoy tea in a Kyrgyz yurt.

Stop in Cholpon-Ata for a walk in the Rukh Ordo cultural complex.

Optional stop for a thermal bath on the lakeshore.

Arrival in Karakol.
Overnight at Hotels.

Excursion by off-road vehicle to the famous alpine valley Altyn-Arashan.

Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by mountain meadows and forested slopes.

Relax in natural hot springs and take short walks in the valley.

Return to Karakol in the evening.

Today we travel from Karakol to the scenic mountain village of Jyrgalan, located in a quiet alpine valley about 60 km from the city.

Upon arrival, start a gentle hike (2–3 hours) toward the beautiful Turnalu Lake, surrounded by forested slopes and wide mountain meadows. The trail is easy and suitable for families and children.

Enjoy peaceful nature, panoramic views, and opportunities to observe traditional rural life in the region.

Return to Jyrgalan village for lunch at a local homestay, where you will taste homemade Kyrgyz dishes and experience warm mountain hospitality.

In the late afternoon drive back to Karakol.

Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast drive along the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake to the village of Bokonbaevo.

Meet a local golden eagle hunter and enjoy a traditional hunting demonstration, learning about the ancient nomadic art of training birds of prey.

Continue to Barskoon Gorge for an easy hike to the waterfalls and scenic viewpoints. The trail is suitable for families and offers beautiful views of mountain forests and alpine landscapes.

Picnic lunch in nature.

In the afternoon return to Bokonbaevo.
Dinner and overnight at a cozy guesthouse or small hotel.

Morning transfer to Kochkor village, one of the cultural centers of Kyrgyz nomadic traditions.

After lunch take a scenic day trip by 4×4 to Kol-Ukok Lake, a beautiful alpine lake surrounded by rolling pastures and mountain ridges. The hike is moderate but suitable for active families.

Return to Kochkor in the evening.

Dinner and overnight in a comfortable guesthouse.

Today enjoy an exciting day trip to Song-Kol Lake, the famous high-altitude pastureland of Kyrgyz nomads located at 3,016 meters.

Drive across mountain passes to reach wide alpine plateaus where shepherd families spend the summer in traditional yurts.

Short walks along the lakeshore, meeting nomadic families, tasting traditional dairy products and enjoying a picnic lunch with panoramic mountain views.

In the late afternoon return to Kochkor.

Dinner and overnight at the guesthouse.

After breakfast drive back to Bishkek.

Arrival in the capital around midday.
City tour and free time for shopping or visiting local cafés.

Farewell dinner at a restaurant.
