Today, a meeting took place in the presidential administration between the head of the president’s affairs department, Kanybek Tumanbayev, and the heads of resorts, sanatoriums, and boarding houses. The further activities of park-beach areas and changes were discussed, reports the press service of the administration. Kanybek Tumanbayev stated that, according to the presidential decree, all park-beach territories are being transferred to the balance of the newly created directorate. Previously, these zones were considered state-owned but were under the management of local self-government bodies. Now the entire beach fund is transitioning to a unified management system. According to the head of the president’s affairs department, the directorate will be responsible for maintenance, cleaning, and ensuring safety on the beaches, which should improve the quality of infrastructure and recreation conditions. He emphasized that the state does not intend to increase rental rates or create obstacles for business. On the contrary, the authorities are interested in open, stable, and long-term partnership with the private sector. The administration noted that from now on, issues of cleanliness, repairs, and infrastructure provision for beach areas will be under the direct responsibility of the state. The decision is aimed at improving recreation conditions, increasing tourist flow, and quality preparation for the summer season. Representatives of boarding houses and sanatoriums who participated in the meeting expressed readiness for constructive cooperation with the new structure.
