Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Economy will focus this year on supporting exports, small and medium-sized businesses, developing the IT sector, creative industries, and tourism. This was reported at the department’s board meeting. As First Deputy Minister of Economy Choro Seyitov noted, a key direction will be the modernization of laboratory infrastructure — all export products must undergo certification and standardization. It is also planned to expand access for SMEs to financing and develop the financial market. Special attention will be paid to the High-Tech Park, creative industry, and tourist infrastructure as sources of additional added value.
