In Seoul, chaired by the Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakyt Sydykov, the 7th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Korean intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation took place. Meeting participants discussed the current state of economic relations between the countries and outlined promising areas of interaction. The parties considered further development of trade and economic ties through the implementation of infrastructure and social projects in Kyrgyzstan, as well as grant and technical assistance programs. In addition, partners agreed to intensify joint business forums and business missions, establish cooperation in green economy, industry, energy, tourism, culture and sports. Special attention at the meeting was paid to strengthening bilateral relations in healthcare, education, innovation, agriculture, environmental protection and labor migration.
