Bishkek, 21.05.26. /Kabar/. The opening of the VII International Tourism Festival “Salam Osh – 2026” took place at the Besh-Mergen jailoo in Kara-Suu district.
As reported by the plenipotentiary representation, at the beginning of the event, the plenipotentiary representative of the President in Osh region Amankan Kenzhebaev met the arriving guests, including specially invited guests from Uzbekistan and a delegation from Tajikistan.
It is noted that one of the brightest parts of the festival was the “Salbuurun” program, reflecting the ancient hunting culture of the Kyrgyz people. Spectators were shown such types of national art as hunting with birds of prey, archery, glorifying the hunting traditions, courage and skill of the Kyrgyz people.
Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, the mayor of Osh city and others are participating in the tourism festival.
