A number of wild animals captured on camera during monitoring in the ‘Besh-Tash’ natural park

Ecology (AKIpress) – In the State Natural Park “Besh-Tash”, a number of wild animals were captured during monitoring. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources.

The monitoring is conducted to preserve the biodiversity of the natural park and for scientific observation of animal populations.

“The materials obtained from camera traps will form the basis for future environmental policies and protection measures,” the department noted.

The Besh-Tash State Natural Park was established in 1996 to preserve the natural complex and biological diversity of northwestern Kyrgyzstan. The park is located in the Talas Valley, on the northern slopes of the Talas Ala-Too, and covers an area of 13,731.5 hectares.

In the coming years, the park is also being considered as a territory for organizing eco-recreation for local residents and foreign tourists.
