Today I’ll share great news that I’m sure will delight many travelers. Asman Airlines has launched a direct flight Almaty – Karakol. The first flight took place today, December 5, 2025.
Now the journey takes only 35 minutes. Tickets start from 6500 som (39,000 KZT / 75 USD), making the route accessible for both tourists and business travelers.
For the region, this is a truly important event: there were no regular flights between Almaty and Karakol since the 1970s, and their restoration opens new opportunities for tourism development and domestic mobility.
