In the Ak-Suu district of the Issyk-Kul region, a solemn ceremony of laying a capsule for the construction of the Ala-Too Resort ski cluster took place, during which the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, officially launched the project.
The project involves the construction of a year-round ski and ecotourism cluster of international level. As part of the first phase, it is planned to build: 250 km of ski slopes, cable cars with a length of 4 km, ethnic villages, hotels, health centers, parking for 4 thousand places.
The complex will be able to accommodate up to 2 million tourists per year and create about 5 thousand jobs, becoming a significant factor in the socio-economic growth of the region.
