Near Bishkek, in the Ala-Archa State Natural Park, the opening of a gondola cable car took place, reports the agency’s own correspondent Kazinform.
At the opening ceremony, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov noted that in recent years, the state has completely updated the infrastructure of the Ala-Archa natural park, creating modern and comfortable conditions for tourists.
The one-kilometre cable car, capable of serving up to a thousand people per hour, was built by the world-famous Austrian company Doppelmayr. Currently, the company is also building cable cars in the large ski resort ‘Ala-Too Resort’, which is being constructed in the Issyk-Kul region.
— We will continue the comprehensive development of the natural park as part of the second stage of extending this cable car. The second stage will start from the checkpoint and cover a total distance of 12 kilometers, reaching the most picturesque and hard-to-reach areas of the national park, — said the president of the country.
It was also noted that in the Ala-Archa natural park, the construction of a modern rodeltan, cottages, and a five-star hotel with a pool is underway.
It was previously reported that an environmentally friendly city of Kemin-City will be built in the Kemin district of the Chui region of Kyrgyzstan.
