A meeting took place in Bishkek between Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov and Chairman of the Board of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF) Artem Novikov with Vice President of Radisson Hotel Group David Philip Jenkins. As reported by RKDF Chairman Artem Novikov, the negotiations confirmed that the international hotel franchise Radisson Blu is officially entering the Kyrgyz market. ‘The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund continues to support projects aimed at developing the country’s tourism infrastructure and attracting strategic investors. The implementation of this project will strengthen Kyrgyzstan’s image as an attractive destination for international business and tourism,’ emphasized Novikov. During the meeting, the possible investment participation of RKDF in the construction of the five-star international Radisson Blu hotel in Bishkek was discussed. The project will be an important step for the development of the tourism sector and increasing the country’s investment attractiveness. As part of the initiative, a signing ceremony of the agreement between OsOO ‘Kap Stroy’ and Radisson Hotel Group took place. The document was signed by General Director of OsOO ‘Kap Stroy’ Taalaibek Kenjeev and Vice President of Radisson Hotel Group David Philip Jenkins.
