# Halal boarding house on Issyk-Kul: tourists are asked to change shorts (video)
Short and tight ones are not suitable
In one of the boarding houses on Issyk-Kul, tourists were asked to change their shorts to longer and looser ones. A video with a review of visiting the halal boarding house and pier appeared on social networks.
The requirement confused tourists, and in society – diverse opinions. There are those who are outraged.
“I am Kyrgyzstani myself. I lived in Arab countries. There is no such requirement there,” one user reported.
There were also supporters of the restrictions.
“There are 1000 hotels and boarding houses on Issyk-Kul. One of them is halal. Please follow the rules,” another user demanded.
