**Bishkek, 13.02.26 /Kabar/.** The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev held talks on February 13, 2026, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Kosherbayev, who arrived in Bishkek on an official visit. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic. During the meeting, the heads of foreign policy agencies discussed in detail the current state of bilateral cooperation in political, trade-economic, water-energy, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of agreements reached by the heads of state and government during the 7th meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council and the 13th meeting of the Intergovernmental Council between the countries. The schedule of mutual visits at the highest and high levels for the current year was also agreed upon. Moving to the practical plane of interaction, the ministers considered issues of implementing such significant projects as the construction of an industrial trade-logistics complex on the border of our countries, a wholesale distribution center in the Almaty region for storing fruits and vegetables, the alternative Issyk-Kul-Almaty highway, as well as the modernization of checkpoints and bridges on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh state border. In addition to infrastructure development, the parties noted the unrealized potential of interregional cooperation in agriculture and industrial cooperation. In this regard, an agreement was reached to study existing prospects. An exchange of views took place on issues of strengthening interaction on multilateral platforms. In this context, the heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the commonality of positions on the current regional agenda and readiness for mutual support within international organizations. In addition, the parties expressed commitment to expanding cultural and humanitarian ties, including through initiatives in education, healthcare, and youth policy. Concluding the meeting, Kulubaev invited the Kazakh side to actively participate in the upcoming VI World Nomad Games.
