Bishkek, 18.02.26 /Kabar/. Preservation of nature and cleanliness of the environment directly affects the development of tourism and the impressions of guests in Kyrgyzstan. This is reminded by the Fund for the Support of Tourism Development in the Kyrgyz Republic.
As noted in the fund, cleaning in mountains and remote natural places is extremely difficult, so left garbage often remains there for years, destroying the ecosystem and deteriorating natural beauty. Plastic decomposes for hundreds of years, and bags, cans, and food residues can be eaten by wild animals, leading to injuries and death of animals. In addition, water and soil pollution negatively affects the ecosystem and human health.
“Cluttered trails and natural locations reduce guests’ impressions and damage our country’s reputation,” the fund also emphasizes.
Specialists remind tourists that by taking garbage with them, each person preserves the cleanliness of nature, the country’s reputation, and the future of tourism. A careful attitude to the environment is the basis of sustainable industry development and the key to forming a positive image of Kyrgyzstan as an attractive tourist destination.
The Fund for the Support of Tourism Development calls on all guests and residents of the country to treat nature responsibly in order to preserve unique landscapes and ecological heritage for future generations.
