The ‘Ala-Too Resort’ project has interested Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a member of the UAE ruling family. Representatives of his office and the management of OJSC ‘Ala-Too Resort’ held online negotiations, the company reported.
The parties discussed investment prospects for the construction of an all-season ski cluster in Kyrgyzstan. Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Azamat Kadyraliev participated in the negotiations.
Chairman of the Board of OJSC ‘Ala-Too Resort’ Zharkynbek Maksutov presented the project concept. The main emphasis was placed on the advantageous geographical location of the future complex and its potential for the development of international tourism.
Following the discussion, investors expressed their intention to prepare and submit their investment proposals in the near future.
The ‘Ala-Too Resort’ cluster was previously declared a project of national importance. To implement it, the government allocated land in the Issyk-Kul region and provided tax incentives.
Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan is one of the influential politicians in the UAE, a member of the ruling royal family of the Abu Dhabi emirate. He holds the position of Vice President of the United Arab Emirates and is Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Presidential Affairs.
