The first training program for experts of the State Classification System for accommodation facilities has concluded, organized by the Department of Tourism and the Tourism Development Support Fund with the support of the ADB as part of the ‘Almaty-Bishkek Economic Corridor’ project. 17 specialists selected through an open competition participated in the training. Over two days, participants completed a course on the methodology for classifying hotels, guest houses, yurt camps, and sanatorium-resort facilities, studied evaluation criteria and document preparation procedures, and conducted practical classification at the ‘Ambassador’ and ‘Solutel’ hotels. The final exam serves as admission to internship and subsequent expert certification.
