The Tourism Development Support Fund returned 56.1 million som in accounts receivable in 2025 and attracted more than $4.5 million in grant funds from the World Bank for the construction of new tourist facilities in the Osh region.
This was reported by the Fund’s General Director Adilet Januzakov during a board meeting of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, attended by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bakyt Torobaev.
According to Januzakov, after the change in management, a comprehensive assessment of the Fund’s activities was conducted with a focus on financial discipline and spending efficiency. As a result, loans for projects in Naryn and Tosor village were fully repaid, and operational costs for IT and communications were optimized.
It is reported that 11 out of 18 Rest Point network facilities are already operational, with the rest at a high stage of readiness. Additionally, the subsidiary company GoBus provides regular passenger transportation and is preparing to implement an electronic ticketing system.
Special attention is paid to large investment projects. For the international sports complex ‘Tamga-Tosor,’ the total declared investments exceed $100 million. Development of the Baytik Mountain Resort and Chatkal Mountain Resort projects continues.
