Unknown rock art monument discovered in Kyrgyzstan

Rock art from the Bronze Age discovered in Kyrgyzstan. In Kyrgyzstan, in the mountains at an altitude of two thousand meters above sea level, rock drawings were found that were regularly updated. The first drawing was carved in the Bronze Age, the last dates back to modern times. In the Talas region of Kyrgyzstan, a previously unknown rock art monument has been discovered. The object is named Durdana. It is located in a picturesque valley near the village of Bakayyr at an altitude of almost two thousand meters above sea level. As stated in a material published in Planet Today, scientists discovered about 600 ancient images here, unique epigraphic finds that shed light on the past of this region. The drawings cover periods from the Bronze Age to the present day. Most often, ancient people drew goats, horses, camels on the rocks, and scenes involving people. The most representative era turned out to be the Middle Ages. Almost half of all finds date back to this time. Scientists also found inscriptions in the Sogdian language. They tell about a high-ranking military man. Tamgas were also found here, some of which were recorded in the Talas region for the first time. Earlier, scientists proved that the ancestors of the Bo people are still alive.
