“The State Holding of Breeding Horse Breeding” will allocate 147.5 million soms for preparations for the VI World Nomad Games in 2026, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture reports. The funds will be distributed between the purchase of elite livestock, updating the material and technical base, and administrative needs. This decision was made as part of the national plan for preparing for the international competitions to be held in Kyrgyzstan. The company plans to purchase 14 breeding horses of English and Russian trotting breeds. 32.8 million soms will be allocated for the purchase of stallions and mares. Replenishing the fund with purebred animals will raise the level of competition and ensure worthy representation of the country in equestrian competitions. The main share of the budget — 91.2 million soms — will be directed to the modernization of sports and auxiliary infrastructure. The work plan includes: repair of stables, arenas, and sports fields; arrangement of race tracks; organization of veterinary and medical support. Another 23.5 million soms are allocated for staff maintenance and payment of administrative expenses. Total investments of 147.5 million soms will help prepare facilities for receiving participants and ensure high quality of the tournament. The Cabinet considers the VI World Nomad Games as a strategic event to strengthen Kyrgyzstan’s image and develop event tourism.
