On June 1, a grand opening of the new entertainment park Sky Park Baytik took place in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev attended the event.
The opening was timed to coincide with International Children’s Day. The ceremony was also attended by Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliyev, investors, as well as children from orphanages and low-income families.
Congratulating those gathered on the holiday, Adylbek Kasymaliyev emphasized that child care is one of the state’s main priorities.
“Children’s Day is not just a date. Every child is our joy, our hope, our future. We are obliged to provide them with a happy childhood, a bright sky, and worthy conditions for growth and development,” said the Prime Minister, adding that an entertainment program and gifts from the President were prepared for the children as part of the holiday.
He noted that, by order of the head of state, active construction of parks and public spaces is underway in the country. The new Sky Park Baytik was built in one of the densely populated areas of the capital – the southern part of the city, where many residential complexes are being constructed.
“This is not just a park, but an important social project that will become a comfortable place for citizens to relax,” emphasized Kasymaliyev, thanking the investors for implementing the initiative.
After the official part, the head of government toured the park grounds and presented festive gifts to the children.
According to the organizers, about 1 billion som of private investments were invested in the construction of Sky Park Baytik. The park covers an area of 4.5 hectares. It features 17 attractions for children and adults, including a children’s water park, trampoline area, VR zone, and a separate area for toddlers up to ten years old. Rest areas, sanitary facilities, and food courts are also provided.
In the future, an amphitheater, museums, exhibition halls, and open-air stages for concerts and festivals are planned to be built on the park’s territory.
