According to the department, as of March 6, cloudy weather is observed at the Too-Ashuu and Ala-Bel passes on the Bishkek-Osh highway, as well as at the Otmok pass on the Taraz-Talas-Suusamyr route. Fog has formed on some sections.
Road maintenance enterprises servicing these sections are constantly monitoring the road conditions.
Traffic is open at the Ton-Murun pass on the Osh-Sary-Tash-Irkeshtam highway, at the Dolon and Tüz-Bel passes on the Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart route, as well as on the Tüp-Kegen road, and movement is carried out without restrictions.
At the same time, the risk of snow avalanches remains on the Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart highway. In case of emergency situations, road services are ready to deploy the necessary special equipment and personnel.
Drivers are advised to refrain from long trips if possible. When going on the road, it is necessary to observe the speed limit and traffic rules, have anti-skid chains, and maintain a safe distance between vehicles.
