On March 22, the Chunkurchak gorge will become the venue for large-scale competitions: the Open Championship of Bishkek in sports tourism on mountain distances will be held here. The organizers have prepared a technically challenging track for the participants, which will require not only endurance but also flawless mastery of climbing equipment.
Athletes will have to overcome sheer cliffs and suspended crossings, as well as demonstrate survival skills – the program includes tasks on first aid and transporting the ‘injured’. In such competitions, victory rarely goes to loners, so tactics and team cohesion will come to the fore.
Both experienced climbers and mountain tourism enthusiasts are invited to participate. At the same time, the organizers emphasize that the event will be interesting for ordinary spectators as well. This is a rare chance to see professionals working with equipment in real highland conditions, breathe fresh air, and cheer for teams in an atmosphere of real sports intrigue.
“Bring your friends, a thermos with hot tea, and a good mood,” the championship organizers advise. The start is scheduled for 09:00. Contact for media representatives and participants is open via WhatsApp at: +996 555 209031.
