China Southern Airlines is launching regular flights on the Guangzhou – Bishkek – Guangzhou route starting March 29, 2026, representatives of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Guangzhou reported following a meeting with the carrier’s management. Ticket sales for the new route opened on February 11. The schedule provides for flights twice a week – on Wednesdays and Sundays. During the negotiations, the parties discussed expanding the route network. Plans include launching the Bishkek – Guangzhou – Sanya (Hainan Province) flight. This route could become an additional channel for developing tourism between the countries. Diplomats and representatives of China Southern Airlines expect that direct air connectivity will simplify logistics for business. Establishing regular flights should strengthen investment, trade, and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China.
