Bishkek, 22.06.26. /Kabar/. The construction of the “Beles-Resort” tourist complex in the city of Sulukta, Batken region, is in the final stages. The plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Batken region, Mamyrzhan Rakhimov, familiarized himself with the progress of the project on site. This was reported by the press service of the plenipotentiary office.
During the inspection of the facility, the head of the region emphasized the need for timely and high-quality completion of construction work, as well as the effective use of the complex after commissioning. According to him, the tourist facility should become a modern self-sustaining enterprise capable of generating stable income.
The project is being implemented as part of the Batken region development program. Financing is provided from the republican budget in the amount of 120 million soms out of a total of 500 million soms, as well as an additional 4 million soms from the local budget.
As part of the construction, conditions for receiving tourists and vacationers are being created on the territory of the complex. Accommodation areas, public catering and recreation facilities, as well as infrastructure for sports and cultural events are provided.
The commissioning of the facility is scheduled for August 2026. The complex will be designed to accommodate 100 to 150 people simultaneously.
As noted, “Beles-Resort” will become one of the key projects aimed at developing the tourism industry of Sulukta, creating new jobs and stimulating the economic development of the region.
