Bishkek, 23.12.25. /Kabar/. In accordance with the instructions of President Sadyr Japarov, prices for air transportation on domestic regional routes for 2026 have been set below market levels. The difference in ticket costs will be compensated from the Stabilization Fund. This was reported by Presidential Press Secretary Askat Alagozov on his social media page.
According to him, as before, the cost of tickets for socially significant flights will not sharply increase in the last hours before departure. The measure is aimed at ensuring price stability and increasing the accessibility of air travel for the population, especially for residents of remote regions of the country.
The initiative is being implemented as part of the development strategy of OJSC “Kyrgyzstan Airports” and the airline “Asman Airlines” and is of an exclusively social nature. Thanks to the support of the head of state, the network of domestic flights is expanding with stable, socially oriented tariffs.
The state has taken on part of the expenses, which has made it possible to abandon the previous market pricing model, under which ticket prices depended on the season, demand, and flight occupancy, making flights unaffordable for a significant portion of citizens.
The adopted measures are aimed at improving transport accessibility in the regions, developing domestic tourism, supporting small and medium-sized businesses, and strengthening regional ties.
In addition, starting from January 4, the frequency of flights to Naryn, Talas, and Karamand will increase—from once a week to twice a week.
