Director of the Tourism Department under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Erdenet Kasymov, stated that the tourist flow to the country in 2026 may increase by 10 percent. According to statistics, by the end of 2025, the number of tourists in the republic exceeded 10 million people. This figure is expected to grow next year due to new initiatives to develop infrastructure and promote Kyrgyzstan as a destination for ecotourism and mountain adventures.
Kasymov noted that the government is working on improving the visa regime and building new facilities to accommodate guests.
