**In Chatkal District, the location for building the Chatkal Resort has been determined**

**Bishkek, 02.04.26 /Kabar/.** The Tourism Development Support Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic, together with the Tourism Department and experts in ski tourism, held an on-site event in Chatkal District on April 2 to determine the site for the implementation of the Chatkal Resort project.
According to the fund, with the participation of the deputy plenipotentiary representative of the president in Jalal-Abad region, the akim of Chatkal District, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Natural Resources, Chatkal Forestry and Cadastre, an excursion was made to the proposed project sites. During the site survey using drones, preliminary aerial photography was conducted.
As a result of the excursion, the approximate location of the site was determined, and work has now begun on developing the territory contour for the implementation of the Chatkal Resort project.
Recall that the Chatkal Resort project involves the creation of an all-season ski recreational resort in the territory of Chatkal District, Jalal-Abad region, aimed at developing winter and year-round tourism, attracting investments, and increasing tourist flow. The project implementation is planned with the participation of international partners, including cooperation with Uzbekistan, and is aimed at the sustainable development of the regional economy and tourism infrastructure.
