ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan — April 15, 2026 — The delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic is actively participating in the International Tourism Exhibition and Conference ‘Turkmentravel – 2026’, which is currently taking place at the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
The large-scale forum has brought together more than 200 companies from dozens of countries around the world, including impressive delegations from Turkey, China, Azerbaijan, Vietnam, and Uganda.
Kyrgyzstan is represented at the event by a multidisciplinary delegation, which includes the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Turkmenistan, the tourism destination ‘Osh’, Osh State University (OshSU), leading tourism companies of Kyrgyzstan aimed at expanding the network of partners and signing new contracts.
During the conference, Deputy Director Erdenet Kasymov emphasized the strategic importance of forming combined tours across Central Asia and expanding the mutual tourist flow between Bishkek and Ashgabat.
The central event of the Kyrgyz program was the presentation of the World Nomad Games — a unique mega-project aimed at preserving and reviving the culture of nomadic civilizations.
