During a working visit to Podgorica, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Temir Sariev held a series of bilateral meetings with state and business structures of Montenegro. This was reported by the press service of the CCI of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Temir Sariev held talks with Vice President of the CCI of Montenegro Pavle Radonovich and Director of the Department of International Cooperation Dusan Radonich. As a result of the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the chambers of the two countries.
The parties agreed to develop interaction in the field of entrepreneurship with a special emphasis on tourism, and also to consider the possibilities of organizing internships for Kyrgyz specialists. It was noted that the tourism sector in Montenegro accounts for more than 30 percent of GDP, which opens up significant potential for experience exchange.
With Minister of Tourism Simonida Kordic, the head of the CCI of the Kyrgyz Republic discussed prospects for expanding cooperation, as well as the participation of the Kyrgyz side in the international tourism forum under the auspices of the UN, which will take place in October this year.
