Kyrgyzstan and the British Royal Family Discussed Education, Climate, and Nomad Games

Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev on February 25, 2026, in London took part in a joint meeting of the heads of foreign policy departments of Central Asian countries with members of the British Royal Family.

During the conversation with His Royal Highness Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, Kulubaev confirmed the openness and readiness of the Kyrgyz Republic to further expand cooperation with the United Kingdom in political, trade-economic, and investment spheres.

The head of the MFA of the Kyrgyz Republic paid special attention to cultural and humanitarian cooperation, in particular, in the field of education, learning English, climate, and tourism. He also spoke about the upcoming sixth World Nomad Games, noting them as a unique international initiative of the country aimed at preserving and developing cultural diversity as the most important element of sustainable and peaceful coexistence of the peoples of the world. It was emphasized that the World Nomad Games contribute to the preservation and transmission to future generations of the rich heritage of nomadic civilizations, popularization in the world of their contribution to the development of humanity, and strengthening dialogue between cultures.

The meeting also involved students from Central Asian countries studying in the UK under scholarship programs, as well as heads and representatives of leading educational institutions of the United Kingdom.

After the meeting with members of the British Royal Family, there was an introduction to the solemn ceremony with the participation of the Royal Horse Guards and the honor guard.
