**«Culture» (AKIpress) —** The Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy has announced a republican competition for the creation of a cultural tourism product.
As reported by the ministry’s press service, the competition is being held to identify original ideas and designs based on plots from Kyrgyz oral folk art, combining traditional crafts with modern design.
The competition accepts applications inspired by the epic «Manas», small epics, myths, legends, fairy tales, as well as proverbs and sayings.
The main prize is 100 thousand som, and there are also awards for outstanding ideas and incentive prizes.
