Construction of a modern five-star hotel continues on the picturesque shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. The implementation of this large-scale project by the Azerbaijani side is an important step in the development of the tourism infrastructure of the Kyrgyz Republic and reflects the strengthening of bilateral investment cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.
On October 8, 2025, Deputy Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic D.Zh. Bikulov visited the construction site and familiarized himself with the progress of the work. During the visit, the parties noted a high level of interaction and confirmed their readiness for further constructive cooperation to successfully complete the project.
The National Agency provided comprehensive assistance to the Azerbaijani side. The Azerbaijani side expressed gratitude for the support and emphasized the effectiveness of interaction in the process of project implementation.
The future five-star hotel will be located on a territory of 17.2 hectares. Seven floors of the modern building with a total area of 29,900 square meters will include more than 120 rooms of various categories. A wide range of services and entertainments will be provided for guests, including a pool, hammam, bars, water park, bowling, and football field, ensuring comfortable conditions for rest and leisure.
Special attention in the project is paid to the development of local personnel potential. It is planned to conduct professional training of staff in Azerbaijan to introduce international service standards.
At the current stage of construction, about 200 jobs have been created, which contributes to the socio-economic development of the region and the increase in employment of the local population.
The Azerbaijani side intends to complete the construction and put the facility into operation by the end of the second quarter of 2026. The new hotel complex will become a modern center for recreation and tourism, contributing to the attraction of tourists and further strengthening the investment attractiveness of the Kyrgyz Republic.
