The cable car in Ala-Archa Park will start operating from February 19. This was reported to journalists by the head of the presidential administration, Kanybek Tumanbayev. According to him, the cost of the ride for adults will be 600 soms, for children – 400 soms. He explained that the set tariff is due to the significant volume of investments in the construction of modern infrastructure, as well as expenses for operation, maintenance, and electricity. At the same time, the ride cost remains affordable and corresponds to the price level for similar facilities in other countries, providing citizens with the opportunity for comfortable and safe recreation. Kanybek Tumanbayev added that the general contractor was the Austrian company Doppelmayr — a world leader in cable car construction. Construction of the cable car extension will begin soon. Overall, according to him, the costs for developing the gorge infrastructure amounted to $70 million. The presidential administration reported that in May, the construction of the five-star hotel infrastructure will be fully completed, a restaurant with a pool and a rodeltan attraction will be built. ‘We also plan to build a glass bridge between two mountains this year — this will be a large-scale project,’ he said. Additionally, 21 modern cottages with all amenities for comfortable recreation, including jacuzzi and sauna, have been officially opened in the natural park. Today, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, participated in the opening ceremony of the cable car in Ala-Archa Natural Park and officially launched its operation.
