For the first time in the history of Central Asia, the Kyrgyz Republic will host a stage of the UIM F1H2O World Championship — “Grand Prix of Kyrgyzstan. Issyk-Kul — 2026.” This was reported by the tourism department.
According to its data, from July 31 to August 2, Lake Issyk-Kul will become a venue for a world-class international sports event uniting the strongest teams and pilots in water-motor sports from around the world.
On May 11, Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev held a meeting on preparations for the event. The meeting discussed organizational, infrastructural, and tourism issues, as well as measures to ensure a high level of championship conduct.
