Due to expected precipitation and rising air temperatures from May 2 to 6, 2026, in the mountainous areas of Kyrgyzstan, on the highways Balykchy-Kazarman-Jalal-Abad 326-349 km (Kok-Art pass) and Karakol-Enilchek 70-90 km (Chon-Ashuu pass), snow avalanches, snow drifts, snow cover, and icy conditions are expected. On highways when passing avalanche-prone sections, it is necessary to strictly maintain a distance of 500 meters between vehicles.
