**Bishkek, 01.04.26. /Kabar/.** In the Jalal-Abad region, the implementation of a promising tourist route, the Toktogul – Besh-Tash highway spanning 55 km, has begun. This was reported by the head of the road department of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic, Asylbek Choybekov, in the ‘Elden Sobol’ program of the Kabar agency.
According to him, the project was included in the plan during the winter period of 2025, and currently, all necessary documentation has been prepared and the first stages of work have begun.
‘Work on mobilizing equipment and preparing for earthworks has already been carried out at the site. The direct asphalt laying on this highway is scheduled for 2027,’ Choybekov noted.
