08:00 AM: Departure to the Kochkor region in 4×4 vehicles. The scenic drive will take you through stunning landscapes, eventually reaching the picturesque mountain lake Kol-Ukok. Upon arrival, enjoy a warm welcome at a traditional yurt camp, followed by a delicious lunch.
After lunch, immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area. Weather permitting, embark on a radial hike to Kol-Tor Lake, located at an elevation of 3,400 meters above sea level. This serene alpine lake is surrounded by majestic snow-capped mountains, making it a photographer’s dream. The hike spans approximately 10-12 km and offers breathtaking views along the way.
If the weather is unfavorable, the hike can be postponed to the next morning, ensuring you experience the lake in the best conditions.
Return to the yurt camp in the evening, where you’ll savor a hearty dinner and spend the night in a cozy yurt under a star-filled sky.
